This book surveys the work of Ana Manso (Lisbon, 1984) made over the past few years. Firmly rooted in a regular practice of painting and drawing. Manso’s visual imagination as language is mirrored in the accompanying essays – each presented in the original language – by curator Suzanne Cotter (AUS/UK), philosopher Federico Nicolao (IT), and artist André Romão (PT), who draw on their distinct cultural perspectives.
